During our session we will discuss your postpartum plan, what to expect in the first weeks of life, partner involvement, positioning, and more. This will include a breast screening exam, health history, and pump fitting/education.

Parenting a newborn is a learned skill - and you can either learn the hard way, or with a prenatal class! We will cover diapering, bathing, creating a routine, babywearing, infant first aid, and how to take care of yourselves as new parents.

Additionally, your needs as a new parent are as just as important as a newborn baby. Your postpartum planning will be highly individualized, helping you to decide how to set boundaries with visitors, who will be cooking and managing other domestic tasks while you rest and recover, and how to keep your cup full while you give so much to a new little human.
